OBSERVATION · read against its own formula
I ran the method on my own piece.
OBSERVATION is a tribunal that never rules, so I ran one on the piece itself. Its statement goes in first, word for word, because everything after it answers to it. Then each element of the formula answers for a part of the frame, the instruments get read, and where I had it wrong, I say so.

Five elements, in order of weight.
The exhibit stays in view the whole time. As each element comes up, the light moves to the part of the frame it answers for. Watch the image, not just the words. The formula is a map of where to look.
The piece corrected its own record.
Until August 11, 2026 this formula carried Contempt. Then I went through every formula in the catalog against its own pixels and its own statement, and when I reached this piece the statement stood up against me. Two lines decided it.
a witness with no verdict.Contempt requires judgment. The statement refuses it in writing.
Stand.The closing imperative is the literal definition of Courage: forward motion with the threat still in frame.
This is the part I want kept. The ledger was wrong about this piece and the piece's own words overturned it. Contempt looks down. Nothing in this frame looks down. The assembly watches, the figure stands, and the formula says so now.

Beneath every formula sits a six-axis measurement. The elements are the vocabulary; the vector is the meter reading. OBSERVATION runs hottest on tension and sublimity, which is exactly what the five elements described: a room built to terrify, held one breath before the event.
Look at the shape it makes. High tension usually comes with movement, and this one holds instead, tense and still at the same time, which almost nothing in the catalog does. Ascendance sits at 25 because nothing in the frame lifts you. Nobody comes to lift you. You stand.

What the certificate carries.
Edition numbers are assigned at mint, not at purchase, so the run is gapless by construction. Each certificate carries the compound, the dominant element, substrate and format, on an on-chain record. When the formula changed on August 11, the certificate changed the same day, in public, with the date on it.
That is the whole method. You keep it.
You can read a formula now. Su₂ tells you the sublime carries the piece at double weight, Nt₁ Dr₁ Cg₁ tell you the three singles steering it, the vigil and the descent and the slow open, and +Nm tells you the numinous threads underneath the whole thing without announcing itself.
Lead, singles, trace. Every piece in the catalog is written that way and every certificate carries it, so take any formula in the study and put it through what this tribunal just did: call each element, hear its bond, check the vector. You will know what the piece does to a room before you hang it in one.
The tribunal never rules. It sits there and it sees you, and now you can sit with a piece the same way.
